Texture #30

Texture #30 I thought was very cool. The way the light shines on the holes in my sandals makes the image look bright and interesting.

Texture #29

Texture #29 is the arm of the couch at my girlfriends house. At a distance the couch is straight up purple but looking closely it's cool to see the the blend of the brown and purple.

Texture #28

Texture #28 is cardboard scratcher for my girlfriends cats. I looks really cool though because it looks like there is little salt particles in there. Not quite sure if it actually is salt.

Texture #27 is a volcanic rock that I have stored in my room. It is quite the rough texture with deep darkened areas.

Texture #26 is quite a simple one. It is the speaker dots on my MacBook Pro. I've always thought they looked interesting.

I was feeling a little sporty today so I took a picture of the laces on a signed baseball in my room and realized how cool it looked as a texture.

Texture #24

Texture #24 has an interesting composition of parallel lines. The closer the lines are, the cooler it looks.

Texture #23 is kind of dazzling but in my mind a beautiful texture. The bolder lines stand out and make it look more like a puzzle.

Texture #22

Texture #22 is no animal! Instead it is the fur on the inside of my MacBook Pro carrying case. It looks as though the fur is coming at you.

Texture #21

Texture #21 is a spontaneous amount of bubbles on the breading of fried chicken I ate the other night. The dark golden areas and pepper seasoning gives it its zest!

Texture #20

Texture #20 is the mashed potatoes made with the fried chicken meal. I thought the light, snowlike texture along with the cool limbs coming off was very interesting.

Texture #19

Texture #19 is the boiling grease that my family used when cooking some really delicious fried chicken. I thought all of the bubbles together made an amazing composition.

Texture #18

Texture #18 is the leather on a couch outside of building 15 under one of the semi trailers. I used this couch for one of my projects in class and found the look of the leather to be very visually attractive.

Texture #17

Texture #17 is clearly a very smooth texture. I like the way the light bounces off of it and makes it look even smoother.

Texture #16

Texture #16 has a frizzy texture along with a square shaped pattern. I also thought the colors were very unique together.

Texture #15

Texture #15 is interesting because it is actually a smooth texture but it looks as though it is of a rougher composition. I found the colors to be very interesting too.

Texture #14

Texture #14 is the aluminum wrapper on a chocolate heart I ate today. Yes it was delicious, but I found the back where the crumpled up ends meet to be very interesting.

Texture #13

Texture #13 is the cement around one of the poles on the overhang on the back of the graphic design building. I thought it was cool how it looked like waves vibrating out from the pole.

Texture #12

Texture #12 is the rough leather surface of my wallet. Its interesting house beaten up and scratched it is. It also looks kind of scaly to me.

Texture #11

Texture #11 is the tree bark off of a log I split the other day. I enjoy it because it looks rough and has deep blacks incorporated into it.

Texture #10

Texture #10 is part of the railing in a stairway. The texture has a more rounded, simple texture. I really like the color of it, even though the light reflection was difficult.

Texture #9

Although texture 9 looks like the texture on the outside of an ole pigskin, it is something completely different. Texture 9 is leather on a chair at my work. It would have fooled me!

Texture #8

Texture #8 is some interesting dots I found on a napkin. I figure nobody really looks at napkins closely because of their eagerness to wipe their mouth but the textures manufacturers press on them is interesting.

Texture #7

Texture #7 is the roughness of the brick wall in my basement. It is a very ugly color but I very much enjoy the harsh texture of it.

Texture #6

Texture #6 is the fabric off of my girlfriends hat. I figured that close up it would be an interesting texture, and it was. The strings of fabric coming off of it makes it look interesting too.

Texture #5

Texture #5 is a radio speaker I found at my girlfriends house. The pattern is very small and repetitive which makes me very dizzy. Don't stare for too long!

Texture #4

Texture #4: This is another texture I found on the swordfish in my living room. These are the scales. Although the camera quality isn't very good, I believed this was a very cool texture.
